Jessica Ryan (she/her/hers)
Assistant Dean of Student Life
After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design from Westfield State and then working as a Residence Director at Becker College, Jess came to Nichols in 2009, serving our students as a live-in Resident Director. She was then promoted to Community Standards in 2014, initially as the Coordinator and then as Director in 2018. During her time at Nichols she has also completed her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.

Brittany Watson (she/her/hers)
Area Coordinator
Brittany joined the Nichols College Residence life team in 2022 as an Area coordinator. Brittany previously worked at Assumption University as a Covid-19 Contact Tracer and completed her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Worcester State University. Brittany enjoys Disney and the Marvel Universe.

Sam Whitaker (he/him/his)
Area Coordinator
Sam joined the Nichols College Residence Life team in 2021 as an Area Coordinator. Sam previously worked at Amherst College and Bard College where he also served in similar roles. Sam completed his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Keene State College in 2018. Sam enjoys video games, dungeons and dragons, and animals of just about any kind.

Kevin Donahue (he/him/his)
Area Coordinator
Kevin joined the Nichols College Res Life Team in 2022 after serving as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball Team in 2021. He previously worked in a similar role at Northfield Mount Hermon School from 2019-2021. Kevin completed his Bachelors in History in 2012 and his MBA at Assumption University in 2015. Kevin enjoys sports and playing piano.
